The View's Elizabeth Hasselbeck says she knows why lesbians come out later in life: there are simply no available men.
Her theory is that older men tend to date younger women, "leaving older women with no one," she said.
"Being gay is not just holding hands and walking through the tulips," Joy Behar retorted. "I don't think you suddenly wake up one day and say, 'Oh, I wanted to do that.' You wanted to do it, but you were just trapped in a system that has just said, 'get married."

Chenoweth and Menzel Return to Glee
By Marchae Grair
Glee creator Ryan Murphy gave Broadway fans two reasons to watch his hit show next season.
Murphy confirmed that Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth will return to Glee for season two in guest appearances, according to Celebritology, a Washington Post blog.
Rachel's mother and Will's oldest student may make a brief visit next season; however, Glee fans should not get used to celebrities appearing on the show. Murphy said he does not want to rely on popular guest stars to carry Glee next season.
Murphy also confirmed other rumors about the show at Comic-Con, including his plans for a Britney Spears episode and an episode about religion.
Jennifer: OMG Gawker, what happened to your face?
Gawker: I have smelt something so awful that my nose tried to crawl inside my head...
Laurel: What did you smell? I can't imagine a scent that bad...
Gawker: I've no idea - but Onlooker is smoking it!
