Dear Moderators of L Word fan sites:

We need your help. At http://Xandrasplace.com/lezgarter.html, Our Chart refugees have put together a campaign in support of  the production of more L Word stories, either as a movie, or preferably, a spin-off series. We want to WOW Showtime the same way the “Black Bra” campaign did. Our project is titled the “Lez Garter” campaign, symbolizing Bette’s proposal of marriage to Tina in the finale.

We are asking you to help distribute this campaign information to your membership by displaying our link on your website directly connecting members to http://Xandrasplace.com/lezgarter.html. There you will find The Petition, in PDF form ready to download, necessary information about the start of the mailing campaign, and ideas about where you can purchase white wedding garters to include when you mail The Petition.

The name and address of the CBS/Showtime executive who is the Target for the mail is listed on the bottom of The Petition. The campaign kick-off mailing date is May 1, 2009 and we will refer to it as “MAYDAY!! MAYDAY!!” We want as many as possible to get mailed on that date, but the campaign will continue as long as there are still L Word fans who want to mail The Petition and the white wedding garter…It’s never too late!
