Legendary computer animation studio Pixar has recorded a message for the It Gets Better campaign.

The campaign, which has spread worldwide, seeks to comfort young people who are struggling with their sexualities, and follows a spate of teen suicides in the US that were believed to be the result of anti-gay bullying.

In Pixar's heartwarming video, an array of its queer employees share their stories of growing up different. "It was all I could do to keep it under wraps," one explains. "I felt like, if I was a lesbian, my father wouldn't love me anymore," shares another.

An enduring message in the video is: "Know that somewhere out there you can make a connection with someone who feels just like you do."

The immensely successful, Academy Award-winning studio is responsible for box office hits including WALL-E, Finding Nemo, and the biggest animated movie of all time, Toy Story 3,

US president Barack Obama as well as UK Prime Minister David Cameron have also recorded videos for the campaign.
