interest in making this campaign the success we know it will be. Joining the
effort is easy. Here’s how:

Some of the reasons why we decided to create this campaign are stated on the
very front page of the site you just entered. The 17 Reasons Why We Want More L
Word Stories is actually the heart of the Petition document you will
download and print. The Petition includes a signature line, and the name and
address of the Showtime executive we have identified as our target
recipient.
The theme is called
” Lez Garter”, which refers to a wedding garter for the Tibette wedding we hope
to see. Please buy one, and include it with your signed Petition. We’ll help
you find one with a list of stores. But,
if you can’t find a white wedding
garter, MAIL IT ANYWAY!!!
MAYDAY!! MAYDAY!! We want
maximum impact. So, please don’t mail the Petition until May 1st, our Kick-Off day…If you don’t get it done on May 1st, MAIL IT ANYWAY!! We want both a big bang with the initial
mailing, as well as continual contact
with Showtime that will demonstrate that our numbers are many, and our devotion
to the cause is strong.
